I AM NORMAL..... at least today!

OK, this isn't much about my running, but it does affect my running, and is a hugh deal to me so I am posting it.

I wrote up more about it on my other blog at blog.2big.org, but the short of it is..... I am 170 lbs today. I am sure it is because I was sick from food poisoning the last couple days, but I was close to this already so it wasn't just because of being sick. This 170 means I am normal according to the governments official BMI calculations. I will be bouncing back up over the next two days I am sure, but it was very cool to see today.

Because of the food poisoning I am still not feeling up to running today, so this week will not be much more than the 20 miles I have already put in. I may run a couple miles tomorrow depending on how I feel.

  1. Congratulations on the weight loss ... nothing like a bit of food poisoning to help you along :) haha

Don't take any chances with the run. Your body will be weak and if you run you might just invite more sickness/bugs etc. Rest up and come back stronger!

  3. Great job on being NORMAL. I was once told that I was normal, but only once. I no longer take those gov, standards too seriously.

  4. Hey Tim--I've always thought you were a pretty normal guy, but it's good to know that "the medical authorities" now say the same about you. (C:

Sorry you had to go through the food poisoning, though--that's a bad deal. Hopefully you're back up and running (HA!) soon!

  5. Thanks all for stopping by and the comments. I am completely recovered now and am still maintaining the 170. Hopefully it will stick long term. Have been able to get back to my normal running the last couple days.
