We are only a short time away from when we start to look at our physique and wonder what we should do about it. Yes, it is the time of year when the New Years Resolution craze causes gym memberships, even with their high prices, to skyrocket. Running, on the other hand, is one of the least expensive sports, but it can still offer many of the same benefits that are being sought out during this time of redirection.
While many are looking at their bank accounts to try and figure out how they will pay the trainer next month, the Publix Georgia Marathon wants to give you a chance to focus more on your running and less on how you will pay for it.
Yes, that is right, just in time for Christmas, the generous people over at US Road Sports, and the Awesome person behind the 26.2 Quest Fanpage (which would be me) are teaming up to offer you a chance to beat the down economy while running the Publix Georgia Marathon or Half Marathon for free!
Many of you, I am sure, have started training for that spring marathon, but just haven’t decided which one you will run yet. With the price increase coming up at the end of the year, there is no better time to sign up for the Publix Georgia Marathon then now. While you head over to sign up make sure you don’t forget to use the $10 discount code: 262QUEST. This code is good for $10 off either the full or half marathon.
The Giveaway:One lucky winner will find themselves with a little extra cash in their pockets when they are given the opportunity to run the Publix Georgia Marathon on March 18th, 2012 for free. Entries will be taken until January 6th with the winner announced shortly after.
How to enter:
- Leave a comment and tell us why you want to run the Publix Georgia Marathon.
