We are just one month away from the Publix Georgia Marathon and just a few short days away from the bitter sweet taper for many would be marathoners. Race day may be getting close, but there is still a chance to get in on the big day whether it be by hitting the Publix Georgia Marathon Registration Page before the next price increase on February 16th, or by winning the chance to run for free.
If you have not yet registered you can take advantage of the price before it increases in just a couple days, but don’t forget to use the discount code: 262QUEST to receive an additional $10 off the current race entry fees.
If you are still willing to gamble with the discount and try your luck at winning a free race entry I can help you out with that as well. I have one more entry just waiting for someone to take advantage of. Thanks to the US Road Sports team someone can run either the 13.1 or 26.2 distance on March 18th, paying with only sweat and extensive training.
The Giveaway:One lucky winner will be chosen randomly out of all comments left on this page. The guidelines below show all the options for entries, but be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry as only one entry will be counted per comment even if you list all the ways you are eligible. Due to the shortness of time before race day the giveaway time period will not be long with the last entry being accepted on Wednesday February 22nd.
How To Enter:
- Leave a comment and tell us how your training is coming for the big day. If you are not in training tell us why you think running either a full or half marathon is a good idea with just four weeks of training.
- Share the opportunity with everyone you know. You know the drill, share if with all those social media tools, your blog, and at your running club, but don’t stop there! (leave a comment for each way you share because each comment will count as an additional entry)
- Join the Publix Georgia Marathon Fanpage, follow them on Twitter at @GeorgiaMarathon and leave a comment for each of these as well.

ReplyDeleteTraining is coming along great though I've been afraid to buy the entry. I've only done one half marathon and I fractured my tibia during it. I'm determined to complete this one and finish with all limbs in tact :)
ReplyDeleteI shared the opportunity to win the entry on my facebook page. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI've been training for several events within the last couple months... In January I ran a Ragnar Relay; in February I ran a Tough Mudder, and in March I am hoping to run my first marathon! I have been hesitant to register because I've only ever run half marathons before, and it is my goal to complete a full this year!
ReplyDeleteI work at a nutrition shop and attend a crossfit gym. I have encouraged both my coworkers and my fellow gym members to run with me, and have asked facebook friends as well!
ReplyDeleteI have become a fan of the Publix Georgia Marathon Facebook page, and am going to link this article there as well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust posted it on my facebook page and my twitter! Please pick me!!!! I ran the full last year, my very first one EVER! It took me 5:28 minutes (wanted to do 4:45 but it was very hilly) I'm not ready to run a full, but I can run a half with my eyes close, haha lol jk =)
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of friends signed up already and I would LOVE to run this race too, can't afford it this year =(
I <3 Running!
I've not been training specifically for a half recently, but I feel my current base would allow me to perform very well. I survived the Tough Mudder this weekend, so how hard could it be, right? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI posted a link to this page on the Public Marathon Facebook wall.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I haven't been training for this marathon, I think it would be an awesome final "long run" for my training for the SweetH20 5oK! Plus, it would be my first Publix Georgia Marathon!
ReplyDeleteI am also a FB fan of the Publix Marathon page.
ReplyDelete& I follow them on twitter!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping to win the last entry and have been training for the full since I entered that, really never stopped upping my distance and training since the Solider Half in November. I'm ready to do this, but my money is tied up in my family moving to a new home. It would be an incredible opportunity that I would not over look.

ReplyDeleteI've been a fan and ran the Publix 1/2 which qualified me for a seeded corral at the Chicago Marathon in 2011. Great race and would love to run it again to compare to the Berry 1/2 I'm running Saturday.

ReplyDeleteI have several friends that will be running this race and they have convinced me to join them, so I would love to win this entry. Training is coming along just fine. Some weekends I do the long run on Saturday with Gwinnett Runners Club, sometimes I drive into Atlanta to meet with other friends and run. I'm going to crossfit basics classes 3x a week and running with a co-worker during the week after work. I'm finally at the weight I was 2 years ago when I first moved down here and am looking to get even stronger!
ReplyDeleteI already follow them on FB.
ReplyDeleteAlready follow them on Twitter as well. :)

ReplyDeleteI've set goals for this year...first - PB on half marathon - check! Second - complete a marathon. Third - log 1000 miles this year. An entry to run will give me a chance to check off marathon and enjoy the company of other mommy friends too!
ReplyDeleteI'm going marathon crazy the last few months. Ran my first in Nov, second in Jan, and third last weekend. Rolling my training over into another April marathon, but it would be awesome to hit up March too! And I love Georgia!
